Spring Hospice Volunteer Training Starts March 9

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, support people in need, and do work with purpose. It’s fulfilling and life-giving for you and the patients and families you support.

We are hosting a Spring Hospice Volunteer Training that starts Thursday, March 9 and runs for six consecutive weeks, 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at CVHHH’s headquarters at 600 Granger Road, Berlin.

To learn more, contact Holley Todd-Girard, Volunteer Coordinator, at 802-224-2285 or fill our the volunteer application on our website here.

Volunteers are an integral part of CVHHH’s hospice team and provide vital supports to patients and their families. Volunteers make it possible for CVHHH to deliver the compassionate holistic care that is a hallmark of CVHHH’s hospice program.

Volunteers perform a range of tasks, including:

  • Provide companionship to and sit with patients
  • Run errands for patients and family members
  • Pick up and deliver flowers to patients
  • Relieve caregivers

Experience with hospice or healthcare is not required. All you need is a caring, can-do attitude and a desire to make a difference for someone nearing the end of their life.
