L. Brown & Sons Printing Named Community Partner of the Year

Every year, CVHHH recognizes an individual or local business that goes above and beyond to give back to this community. This year, we selected L. Brown & Sons Printing in Barre.

Larry Brown, pictured left with President & CEO Sandy Rousse, founded L. Brown & Sons Printing in his garage in 1988 with his wife Diane. In 1996, the company expanded and moved to Jefferson Street in Barre, where it is located today.

Over the years, Larry has supported CVHHH by donating tens of thousands of invitations, envelopes, brochures, business cards, and forms. In addition, in his role as a longtime volunteer for the East Montpelier Fire Department, he often encounters CVHHH’s staff and clients when he is called to central Vermonters’ homes. “I have never been dissatisfied with the quality of care that I received (for hip surgery) or that others have received,” he says. “Your staff recognize when action needs to be taken to help someone, and they do what’s needed. In my work as a member of my local fire department and rescue squad, I’ve run into numerous CVHHH staff, all of whom have been exceptionally professional, compassionate, and understanding of the patients’ needs.”

“Larry Brown has been a partner with CVHHH for almost as long as I have been involved with the organization,” says Sandy Rousse. “We are especially grateful for Larry’s donations of high-quality printed items like invitations, envelopes, and posters for our special events. We are proud to continue to partner with L. Brown and to honor the company’s contribution as 2019’s Community Partner of the Year.”
