Welcome Burr & Betsy Morse, Honorary Spring Campaign Chairs

We are excited to welcome Burr & Betsy Morse, of Morse Farm in Montpelier, as Honorary Chairs of our Spring Campaign. In their letter to Friends of CVHHH, Burr & Betsy note the importance of CVHHH’s work in promoting independence — something these seventh-generation farmers know a little about.

Burr & Betsy write: “One thing that has not changed [in CVHHH’s 105-year history] is the importance of restoring and preserving independence and improving the quality of life in central Vermont.”

The Morses make many contributions to improving the quality of life in central Vermont — with their delicious, local maple syrup, famous creemes, grass-fed beef, Christmas trees and more. Similarly, CVHHH helps central Vermonters improve their quality of life through education, skilled nursing and therapy care, chronic illness and disease management, and medication management support, to name a few of our services. All of this leads to an improved quality of life, less time in the emergency room, hospital, and nursing home, and ownership over one’s health care.
