Physical Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy care for patients in their home setting.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care to individuals in collaboration with supervising Physical Therapist in alignment with the patient’s plan of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and colleagues to ensure a person’s needs are met.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical records to ensure integration of information for use by patient’s care team.
• Demonstrate ability to perform standard therapy measurement techniques, including ROM, strength, and balance tests.
• Able to use variety of therapeutic modalities to maximize care provided to clients.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school
• Two years of clinical practice in medically-oriented setting preferred
• Valid Vermont Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Valid Vermont driver’s license
