Denise Ruiz, Medical Records Specialist and Afternoon Receptionist, has been named Above & Beyond Winner for August. CVHHH gives out the award monthly to celebrate the outstanding work of one employee on behalf of CVHHH staff, the agency, or the central Vermont community. Denise was nominated by her peers, one of whom said that Denise is “always very helpful, outgoing, always has a smile, and takes the extra step.”
Denise joined CVHHH almost two years ago and found her footing quickly, deftly moving between Medical Records and the Front Desk. “I really do enjoy helping out wherever and whenever I can. As long as I am keeping busy, I will do whatever needs to get done to help out my teammates.” Denise has worked in office environments and as an administrative assistant for many years.
Denise lives in Berlin with her husband David and their two cats, Autumn and Joseph. She has two grown sons and two grandsons. She loves scrapbooking and making greeting cards by hand! “Anything crafty, I’ll be there,” she says.
