CVHHH received a $3,500 grant from M&T Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic branch of M&T Bank. The funds will support CVHHH’s Family-Child Health (FCH) program which provides a range of medical and non-medical supports and services to promote the health and wellness of families and children from pregnancy through birth and beyond.
CVHHH’s FCH program currently provides care to approximately 115 families in central Vermont through a range of services, including lactation support, nutrition education, skilled nursing care, and pediatric palliative care. “I am deeply proud of the invaluable services we offer to our community. From comprehensive prenatal care to essential parenting support, our programs are designed to ensure the best outcomes for families and children,” said Michelle Dane, RN, CLC, Family-Child Health Program Manager. “The generous support from charitable foundations, such as M&T, is crucial in sustaining our programs, and they enable us to reach more families in need. Together, we can build a healthier and stronger community starting in pregnancy and through early childhood.”
“M&T Charitable Foundation is pleased to provide a $3,500 donation to Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice,” said Kathy Schirling, Vice President, Senior Regional Program Officer, at M&T Charitable Foundation. “Having a newborn demands resilience, resourcefulness and a proactive approach to building the support that you need. Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice is that resource. We are proud to support their work as they help clients with a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.”
