In lieu of our annual signature Seasons of Life Fashion Show, Live Auction, & Dinner this October, we hosted a fundraising campaign to expand our telehealth program. Thanks to the generosity of our community, sponsors, and online auction bidders, we raised $40,000, exceeding our goal!
CVHHH has had a telehealth program since 2011. Recently, the program has experienced significant grown. Amy Bessett, RN, Telehealth Nurse Manager, who joined CVHHH in 2020, is focused on connecting patients with the healthcare they need. With another surge of the coronavirus ahead, this means utilizing telemonitors and telemedicine to provide skilled services, education, and support–and to check in with–clients, while reducing their risk of exposure to COVID-19. “As we await a vaccine for COVID-19 and head into cold and flu season, CVHHH will expand telehealth options and partner with local providers to make sure all Central Vermonters get the right care when and where they want it.” Click here to learn more about telehealth.
