The 29th annual Hospice Memorial Golf Tournament was held on June 6, 2025, at the Country Club of Barre. We appreciate all of the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community members who came together to support CVHHH and make the day a success. Together, we raised over $39,000 for compassionate end-of-life care in Central Vermont.

CVHHH’s golf tournament was started in 1996, and, over three decades, has grown into a celebratory day-long event to help raise awareness and funds to support CVHHH’s Hospice program. In 2024, CVHHH’s Hospice team cared for 284 Central Vermonters and their families, who consistently share that the greatest benefits of the end-of-life care their family received were comfort, agency, and an improved quality of life for their loved one.
“A lot of people lose touch with their parents. I can make my mom laugh every day. There is a lot of love and a lot of communication. CVHHH is shining a light in the path for us.”
-Walt Ward and Del Haskins with their mother, Kristin Haskins, Barre
“CVHHH allowed my husband a dignified and peaceful death. CVHHH’s Hospice team listened to us. They knew how much [my husband] OW loved our home at the foot of Mount Hunger and that it was important for us to be together.”
-Maribeth Domanski, Middlesex
“We cannot imagine where we would have been without Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice. Mom received the same quality care in her final days that she so valued and sought to provide for others during her entire nursing career. We will be forever grateful.”
-Jeffrey Gould and Elizabeth Gould Morris, Barre
“I am truly grateful for Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice and for the peace, compassion, and excellent end-of-life care for David and our family when we needed it most. [David] was happy with the life he’d been given and that he was able to fulfill his wish to die at home with grace and dignity. We couldn’t have done it alone.”
-Juliet Barash, Waterbury Center
