2020 Community Partner of the Year Named

Every year, CVHHH’s Community Relations & Development team and Sandy Rousse, CVHHH’s CEO, select a central Vermont organization or individual who has gone above and beyond in their efforts to support CVHHH’s work and mission. We are thrilled to announce that Ed Flanagan is our 2020 Community Partner of the Year.
Ed joined CVHHH’s Board of Directors five years ago and is an active member of the Finance Committee. Sandy Rousse (pictured, presenting Ed with his certificate at a safe social distance) says that Ed is a vocal advocate for CVHHH, especially when it comes to building strong, reciprocal relationships with community partners and our local municipalities, which support CVHHH through town funding every year.
A few of Ed’s family members have utilized CVHHH’s home health and hospice services over the years. “I’ve always believed that healing at home is much better than healing in an institutional setting,” he says. “As a board member, I want to work with our communities to expand these services where people are most comfortable.” Ed owns The Point radio station in Montpelier, where he lives with his wife Bonnie.
