VNA Releases Summary Findings of Vermont Hospice Study

Our affiliate agency, the Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden & Grand Isle Counties (VNA), recently released the summary of findings from the six-month-long Vermont Hospice Study. The study, commissioned by VNA’s Madison-Deane Initiative, explores more deeply why the hospice rate in Vermont is among the lowest in the nation. As an organization, CVHHH believes that hospice offers persons facing the end of life (along with their families) an option to receive compassionate, wraparound care that is focused on meeting physical, spiritual and emotional needs. The emphasis is on enhancing life and living to the fullest potential.

Read a report with highlighted findings from the study. A presentation of the findings and release of the full report will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 2:30PM at Capital Plaza in Montpelier. The event is free and open to the public. To register, visit the website.
