Sandy Rousse Named President of VNAs of VT

Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) President & CEO, Sandy Rousse, CPA, has been elected as President of the VNAs of Vermont (VNAVT). VNAVT is the association of 11 not-for-profit Visiting Nurse Associations providing home health and hospice care to all Vermonters. Rousse was elected in October by members of the VNAVT board, which is comprised of leadership from VNAVT member agencies.

“I am eager to continue the work that has been done to position the VNAs of Vermont as a key player in health and payment reform in Vermont,” says Rousse. “The association’s 11 member agencies have a proven track record of providing high-quality, community-based care to all Vermonters. In addition, we have long been at the forefront of incorporating innovative, technology-based solutions, like telemonitors, to reduce costly hospitalizations and keep patients where they want to be—at home.”

As President of the VNAs of Vermont, Sandy will work closely with the VNAVT Executive Director, Peter Cobb, and will serve as the organization’s spokesperson. With Cobb, Rousse will represent VNAVT at various functions and in meetings with key community partners and stakeholders, including members of Governor Peter Shumlin’s staff. Says Cobb: “I have a great deal of respect for Sandy. I am confident that she will work to represent the interests of the organization and its members.”
