A Message from The Allen Brothers, Honorary Fall Campaign Chairs

This week, many of you will receive a letter in the mail from Paul, Gary, Steve, Burnie, and Tom Allen on behalf of CVHHH. When we asked the brothers to serve as honorary chairs of our fall fundraising campaign, they answered with a quick, resounding yes! We are honored to have the family’s support and hope that you will read their letter when it arrives in the mail.

In their note, the brothers write honestly about the exceptional, compassionate hospice care their parents, Sylvia and Robert, received at the end of each of their lives. With the support of our interdisciplinary team, the five brothers could focus on spending quality time with their parents, who were cared for in the family home in Barre. The sons were even able to be by their parents’ bedsides when the couple died, some five months apart.

Your generous donation ensures that we can continue to provide the high-quality, compassionate care that our community–and the Allen Brothers–rely on. Every dollar goes back into supporting our programs and staff, enabling us to serve patients where and how they want, in the privacy and comfort of home, surrounded by their family and loved ones.
