We are pleased to announce that Lisel Krezinski, LICSW, has been named Above & Beyond winner for July. CVHHH gives out the Award monthly to celebrate the outstanding work of one employee on behalf of CVHHH staff, the agency, or the central Vermont community.
Lisel was nominated by several of her colleagues, including Brenda Smith, RN, who says, “Lisel quietly and competently does her job. She represents the agency with the utmost professionalism and is always willing to help her colleagues and patients.” Allison Jones, RN, added, “Lisel is so compassionate and provides such amazing help for community members. It’s such a joy to be greeted by her smile when I see her at work.”
Lisel, who has worked at CVHHH for about 15 years, says that she’s always wanted to be a social worker. After receiving her Masters of Social Work from SUNY Buffalo, she worked in a number of different settings helping teens in crisis. When she had a family, she moved into medical social work. “I really find my work rewarding,” she says. “I enjoy collaborating with my wonderful teammates and feel that we each bring a piece of the puzzle to the table to benefit the patients we serve. I am a good listener and have a deep sense of faith, which helps to keep me motivated. I am honored to be able to help my clients navigate through tough times in their lives.”
Lisel lives in Middlesex with her husband. She has two college-aged children. When she’s not working, she loves riding her motorcycle and exploring her family’s genealogy.
