We are pleased to announce that Linda Kinney, Billing Specialist, has been named Above & Beyond winner for November. CVHHH gives out the Award monthly to celebrate the outstanding work of one employee on behalf of CVHHH staff, the agency, or the central Vermont community.
In her role, Linda manages CVHHH’s Medical Supply Room and handles payroll processing. Linda makes sure that all visiting clinicians and patients get the medical supplies they need when they need them. In addition, she makes sure that all staff have accurately entered their hours on time. She even modeled in the Seasons of Life Fashion Show and Fundraiser in 2016.
Linda, who lives in Randolph and who was raised in Bethel, says that her hard-working mother taught Linda and her siblings a strong work ethic. “I thank my mother for this lesson and for leading by example,” she says. “My mother taught me to do the best job that I could and, when possible, to put in an extra effort.”
Mike Scoppe, RN, says: “Linda works hard to make sure that patients get the supplies they need. She does a really good job for all of us.”
Linda is in her twelfth year at CVHHH. A born-and-raised Vermonter, she says: “I love the hills of Vermont, the beaches of New England, and the Gulf of Mexico from Tampa all the way to Key West! I have a daughter, Hayley; a granddaughter, Vivian; and a significant other, Bob.”
