Journaling Through Grief | A Free Workshop at CVHHH

Diana Moore, CVHHH’s Grief & Bereavement Coordinator, is hosting a free eight-week support group called Journaling Through Grief. The group utilizes the book (and accompanying journal) Understanding Your Grief written by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, Ph.D.

“Writing can be a very effective form of mourning, or expressing grief outside of yourself,” says Diana Moore, who also hosts free, bi-weekly Grief & Bereavement support groups at our office in Barre. “It is through mourning that we heal in grief. This support group is designed to help mourners explore the many facets of their grief through journaling with the support of Dr. Wolfelt’s book, which interfaces with the ten essential touchstones for helping individuals heal. The workshop is free and open to the community.

The workshop meets Wednesdays starting January 3, 2018 from 4:00-5:40PM at CVHHH’s main office, 600 Granger Road, in Barre. The dates are January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and February 7, 14, and 21).

Attendees must purchase Dr. Wolfelt’s book and journal, available via Amazon.

Please register by Thursday, December 7 by contacting Diana Moore via email or by calling 224-2241.
