About the Position
The Executive Assistant will focus, primarily, on managing the CEO’s office operations and coordinating and carrying out a wide range of administrative support functions for the CEO and Board of Directors.

Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice is a full service, not-for-profit Visiting Nurse Association committed to providing high quality, medically necessary home health and hospice care to all central Vermonters, regardless of a person’s ability to pay. In addition, we promote the general welfare of all central Vermonters with health promotion, long term care, and maternal-and-child health services.

- Strong note taker with ability to execute and hold team members and leadership accountable
- Strong communication skills across a large team with many different levels and functions
- Self-motivated and task driven, with the ability to manage their own calendar alongside the CEO’s
- Leads well under pressure with calm, sound judgment, in support of CVHHH and its people.
- Resourceful, organized, and able to work on multiple projects at a time
- Is a highly composed and professional and a highly ethical individual with unquestioned integrity.
- Proven ability to effectively address sensitive people and business issues with complete discretion and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Support the CEO and leadership team on various projects
- Provides a wide range of administrative support to the Board of Directors and other committees including assisting senior management with preparation and distribution of board materials.
- Communicates regularly with Board members, government agencies, and others outside of the organization to carry out functions assigned by Senior Management staff.
- Takes minutes for leadership team, including attendance of Board meetings and other committee meetings
- Support various projects and objectives around the CEO’s workday
- Supervise the reception desk and serve as back up
- Maintain inventory and purchasing of office supplies
- Help serve as a steward of CVHHH’s culture and values.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility in order to meet the operations demands of the department
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
