Is International Travel in Your Future?

Nothing is more appealing than a vacation in a warm climate during the depths of winter. Yet how often do we hear friends and family report that their dream vacation was spoiled by unexpected health problems such as "Montezuma's revenge," a bad sunburn, or even more serious illness?

For most travelers staying in resort areas, simple preparations and precautions can eliminate the risk. However, if you are traveling outside North America or Western Europe, more time and consideration are needed to protect your health.

Health conditions around the world change rapidly, and the CVHHH International Travelers' Health Program is staffed by CVHHH nurses with indepth knowledge of travel medicine, including pre- and post- travel counseling, immunizations, and prevention advice.

Consult our International Travelers' Health Program as soon as you start planning your trip. You may require up to eight (8) weeks prior to departure to complete a full set of vaccinations. Be prepared to provide detailed information about your itinerary, current health status, and vaccination history.
